Asian Semi-Longhair cats are a cat breed similar to the Asian Shorthair except they have semi-long hair instead of short hair. Asian Semi-Longhair cats are also known by the name Tiffanie. These cats are recognized in any of the Asian Shorthair or Burmese colors and patterns. Like the Asian Shorthair, this breed was developed in Britain, and is not currently recognized by any U.S. Registries.

The Asian Group describes a group of cats developed primarily in England. These cats are of European Burmese type but differ in color, patterns, and coat lengths. There are both shorthairs and semi- longhairs in this group. The variety is endless; tabbies are bred in all recognized patterns. Burmillas, Bombays and Tiffanies fall into this group of cats, and have been included here.
